Start taking Vitamin E and Flax oil on a daily basis. This helps to lubricate. Then as needed, take a laxative along with the above. Good luck.

Are you sure it's not your appendix? The hurting when you push down sounds like appendicitis or something else. I would suggest that you go to the doctor in the morning just to make sure that it is constipation, because you're getting into areas that you don't want to mess with.
However if it is constipation, apple juice works for me, but everone reccomends prunes or prune juice. Try whatever you want or whatever you can readily find.

try to eat foods high in fiber, try metamusil, or try a natural laxitive pill, that you can get from a health food store. i took a few of them and my insides were so cleaned that i couldn't sit for a day.. also, hard or stupid as this sounds... try not to worry. stress can cause constipation.
and... once it's clear.. try to watch what you eat. mcdonalds and taco bell may make you go, but that's assuming you're healthy.. otherwise you'll blow up from the inside. eat corn, brand muffins, lots of greens, lettuce... fiber.
also.. and this is kinda gross and uncomfortable.. but suppositories help. you insert one into your.. rear.. hold it.. then within a short while you may go. (though.. i wouldn't recommend over doing it; ex: all the things i or others recommended at once. the pain is worse than death)

hmmmmm.... normal case as i can say. People who dont really like to eat fiber like vege and fruits would cause sth like this. it also depend on what fruits to eat and how much portion you take compare to non-fiber food.
for fruits which might help is banana, papaya and corns. take lots of water with it, and during meals time, cut down hard digestive food like meat and take more vegetables. lots, and lots more.
as for supplement which people will resort to, i suggest you to take two scoop of protien powder, some fiber tablet (smash it into powder) or others that help to make your way to toilet. use milk as the medium and shake everything into a mixture. pls drink it before you sleep. the next day and the first thing in the morning, drink 1.5 litre of warm water, and drink it straight. within half an hour later after that drink, you will automatically go to toilet. its effective and i've help lots of people with these case.
the only hardest thing is the 1.5 litre water which you need to drink, but try to push your best for it. force yourself for it.
during normal hours, pls drink lots of water at least 3 litres at day time. if possible try to take yogurt and milk as drinks, for quite some time later , you should feel better with the toilet thingie.

drink lots of water, eat lots of raw fruit, dried fruit like prunes or dried apricots, and lots of fiber, you can use fiber that you disolve in your juice, or fiber pills or lots of whole grain cereals and breads. you can also try a supposetory for the immediate problem and it might get things going. you need at least 80 oz of water a day on top of anything else you might drink.

Constipation is caused by several things.
Being overweight
Being dehydrated
Poor diet

The cure?:
Eat more fruits and vegetables. At least 4 or 5 lbs per day.
Drink more water, at least 48 oz per day. Optimum is 64 oz per day
Get regular exercise
Stop polluting your body with bad medicine and junk food

You might have a hernia.
If not, epsom salt, Light Karo syrup in water, warm bath couple times a day, more water and /or fruits and fiber, prune juice, apple juice.

I can advise you to eat fruits and food rich with fiber or potassium, drink a lot of water but I think people here forgot to advise you to SEE A DOCTOR immediately.
