Mitt Romney impressed me the most. I went into the debate not excited about any of the candidates. Mitt Romeny was articluate, showed he had a good grasp of the issues presented him and presented at least one intrguiging fresh new idea. McCain showed me a little something and that says a lot because I an not a fan of his. Guliani is quickly losing my interest. If I was asked a year who I would like as a republican candidate Guliani would have been at the top of my list but now I just want him to go away. However when I looked at all the candiates up there on stage standing next to each other Romney was the only one I could actually picture being president.

I think Ron Paul got a lot of people raise interest in him. Check out the viewer ratings on msnbc.com:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18421356/
He has the highest favorable rating, followed by Romney, Giuliani, and McCain.

EDIT - Yes, I find it very telling if you look at the "Before" compared to the "After." Giuliani was clearly the front runner and dropped 20 percentage points after the debate - my guess is because of his abortion stance and his bumbling answers, when most people expected him to shine. Ron Paul on the other hand was very low before, and the highest after..

Of course, this can all change still as people can continue to vote in the poll...

I found that Debate- depressing. I haven't seen that many "dinosaurs" since I took my kids to the museum! I don't CARE what THEIR moral values are, thank you (I have plenty of my OWN). I want to KNOW what the next President is going to DO about- Health Care, & Social Security, Immigration, Global Warming...- and say, don't we have 140,000 of our guys getting shot at in a land far away-somewhere??? How long is THAT going to go on- before someone decides it's safe for them to come home??? Those guys are HISTORY. I'm worried about the FUTURE. If that's all THEY have to offer- then they ALL lost, last night. And so will WE- if we elect any of them- next year. :(

There no clear favorites noticed in the GOP debate and no winner was declared.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if a Republican will likely win.

Romney terrifies me. He clearly won the debate - he was the most polished and most capable of the Republicans, and worst of all, he is the most electable. His lack of consistency and his dangerous social and political policies make me very afraid that this man may be our next president.

I like the independence of Ron Paul away from the establishment and for US people.
