How about
Irish Lullaby -- refrain

"Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, Too-ra-loo-ra-li,
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, hush now, don't you cry!
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, Too-ra-loo-ra-li,
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, that's an Irish lullaby."

Rock A Bye Baby:

"Rock-a-bye, baby
In the treetop
When the wind blows
The cradle will rock
When the bough breaks
The cradle will fall
And down will come baby
Cradle and all"

Hush Little Baby:

Hush, little baby, don't say a word,
Mama's going to buy you a mockingbird.
And if that mockingbird don't sing,
Mama's going to buy you a diamond ring.
And if that diamond ring turns brass,
Mama's going to buy you a looking glass.
And if that looking glass gets broke,
Mama's going to buy you a billy goat.
And if that billy goat won't pull,
Mama's going to buy you a cart and bull.
And if that cart and bull turn over,
Mama's going to buy you a dog named Rover.
And if that dog named Rover won't bark,
Mama's going to buy you a horse and cart.
And if that horse and cart fall down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town."

Also try "When You Wish Upon A Star"

"When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you

If your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do

Fate is kind
She brings to those who love
The sweet fulfillment of
Their secret longing

Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true."

Beau, I don't know who first sang the lullaby, but there is one that my mother and I used to sing every night over the P.A. system at her campground. She would play the organ and I would key the mike and this is the song.

Please go 'way and let me sleep
Don't disturb my slumber deep
I would rather sleep than eat
'Cause sleep to me is just so sweet sweet sweet

I never had a dream so nice
Thought I was in paradise
Waking up makes me feel so cheap
So please please let me sleep.

All I do know about this lullaby is that it is from somewhere in either the thirties or the forties. Origin is unknown. Also, I don't know how to actually give you the tune for it, but if you do want it, contact me at "tumble1951@yahoo.com".

Good luck.

All Through the Night

Sleep my child and peace attend thee,
All through the night.
Guardian angels God shall send thee,
All through the night.
Hark the weary hours are creeping,
Hill and dale in slumber steeping,
I, my loving vigil keeping,
All through the night.

Now the weary world is sleeping,
All through the night.
Now the Moon her watch is keeping,
All through the night.
O'er thy spirit gently stealing,
Visions of delight revealing,
Breathes a pure and holy feeling,
All through the night.

Brahm's Lullabye

Lullabye and goodnight
With roses be dight.
With lilies be spread
On baby's wee bed.
Lay thee down now and rest,
May thy slumber be blest.
Lay thee down now and rest,
May thy slumber be blest.

********************

Hushabye
Don't you cry
Go to sleepy little baby.
When you wake, you shall have
All the pretty little horses.
Go to sleep, go to sleep,
Go to sleepy little baby.

Mama loves and papa loves
And mama loves her little baby
Go to sleep, go to sleep,
Go to sleepy little baby.
