I had EXTREMELY bad acne and people usually didn't say anything. Would you call a fat person fat? I knew I had acne, did I need someone to tell me that?

I always notice people with acne, but I don't judge them because I used to have bad, embarrassing acne when I was a teenager. It's really rude to point this out to the person. If you notice it, no doubt the person notices and agonizes over it as well. Sometimes medicines don't help or cause allergic reactions--so before you go tell someone to 'wash their face' or whatever, consider that.

i dont notice acne on people around me unless its really bad, and even if its that bad to the point where i really notice, i dont really care that much. its not important, i dont think of the
person any differently than i would if they had clear skin.

people arent judged by their skin, because chances are, in a few months or years, that person will have beautiful skin and a person who initially had perfect skin may have acne!

its all part of growing up, as you get older you realise that people dont care much about things like that, so there is no point in worrying about them!

Why WOULD we say anything about another person's acne? First of all, it would be EXTREMELY rude. Secondly, of course the person already KNOWS s/he has acne, they don't need us to point it out. And most of us had acne too.

I'm a big believer in 'if you don't have something good to say, don't say anything.'

I do notice acne, it just doesn't matter to me. Unwashed hair is FAR worse!

I am sure that people who are "people watchers" notice most anything about another person. We "notice" that a person (for instance) has frizzy hair or is bald, that they are extra fat or skinny, that they walk with a limp etc.

Some things are more than noticable; for instance a person with a missing limb or someone in a wheel chair.

In proper society we realize that there are people in this world who are very different than us and most of us are taught to be accepting and not to stare.

Did they notice? Perhaps. What did you notice about them?

I never notice unless I'm staring at them for hours. Especially if they are personable and smiling.

Perrhaps or maybe they are thinking of that real zinger to hit you with, one that is so bad you don't leave the house for a week.
