Go to Europe!!!
Then back to Dallas and work really hard and save your money diligently, and by this time next year you can move to L.A. if that is what you really want to do.
Do things when you can ... you MIGHT never have another chance ...
if moving to L.A. seems of more importance to you, then do that, but I would go to Europe, you will learn so much!

If you are looking for a job or planning a career change, you might be better of to go to LA first. By going to Europe, you will be distracted by all the sights and sounds of different cultures and you might not be able to figure out your next career move.
On the other hand, if you're already thinking of working or studying in Europe, or perhaps is already in the creative field and is working on a story, screenplay, or something like that, then a major change of scenery may not be a bad idea.
Best thing to do is not to spend too much $$$ - save as much as can and figure out what to do next - go West!

Go to Europe. Travel definitely broadens the mind and you will have memories to last a lifetime. And its always nice when someone brings up the subject of travel and you can say I've been there. I would not trade my memories of traveling in Europe for anything. I'm just hoping to go back.

Travel. It will expand your horizons, give you a sense of the world, and change your attitude about being a citizen of the world.
Upon your return, you'll have a better idea of where you want to take your life.
