In my opinion, I feel that each of our full blooded heritages (Black, Asian, White, etc.) should be preserved.

I am interested in discovering how others feel about this topic, and each individual's reasons.

Open minded answers welcomed, Thanks.

I find it interesting that you argue for an antiquated position involving racial purity while simultaneously requesting only open minded answers.

ALL people are already mixed, the whole idea of a pure race went out with Hitler and race eugenicists. Natives in America for example mtDNA is cherished by scientists because we are considered more pure. But, YES, I personally go with the hottest, best looking women I can find! And thanks God, I have been very blessed. It does not hurt that I have a handsome smile and to be tall and well educated. So, if someone thinks they are pure, why does the mixed with white kid with blond hair have African mtDNA? Or the Mexican have Native mtDNA and so forth. Only ignorant people would think such a thing, think culture. Would a Christian do well marrying a Muslim? Would a Muslim do well marrying an Atheist? It is not a color or unsubstantiated race thing, it is culture. It is pheromones and so forth. : ) Do not limit yourself, lots of good women out there. So, since some Aryan types think they are pure, why is it there mtDNA is related to folks in India and the Middle East? It is because there is no pure people on earth. We breed, and we breed with the most attractive person availible.............

Yes I do believe in mixing races, as you so call you. In this day of age, full blooded is nearly impossible to find - especially as cities become established.

I have a wonderful, beautiful asian mother and an irish/swedish father. After my mother passed away my father married an Irish woman with bright red hair, and she brought to the mix my half brother who happens to be a mix of irish, italian, souix and a native indian from Hawaii. I also grew up on a military base that it was the "whites" that were the miniorty.

This gave me the understanding and respect needed for a world that is made up of many wonderful cultures. I hope that some day you will learn to respect other cultures as much as I do.

I believe in dating/marrying/having children with whomever you love. I'm half Irish half Peruvian, I date outside of my ethnicities. I feel like relationships have enough going on without the race issue coming up. Corny as it may sound I believe love is the most important thing when it comes to relationships and I wish more people felt like that. I was not always welcome by my previous boyfriend's family or friends. If I'm attracted to someone inside and out I'm not about let that go.

My nephew is Irish, Peruvian, Black, Native American and is a beautiful smart little boy.

We all bleed the same blood.

Racial purity is a futile myth. There is no such thing. In everyone's racial ancestry there is a bump in the road somewhere. If we all emerged from the same woman thousands of years ago and just morphed into what we are because of enviroment, whats the point of hanging on to that when your enviroment can change in an instant.

I've seen people's ancestors go from one race to a completely different one in 3 generations, from black all the way to white and noone could tell the difference. Two "pure" white people could get together, ideally one of them could be "pure" scandanavian, but the other may have had Tartar/Slavic blood 30 generations back. Does that really make a difference? It does when we speak of purity but in the grand scheme of life, its a stupid thing to worry about.

I am going on a limb here and i don't want to offend anybody, but when you say you think that our full blooded heritages should be preserved, you sound like a member of the KKK i saw on TV saying that white should marry white and have white babies and so forth. If people who are of diff races love each other and want to be together, than i say good for them. You see they don't see color, the see the person for who they are.

This might sound extremely trivial, but I think it's the love that matters. If love your partner, no matter of his/her race, your relationship will be a happy one. If you belong to different cultures, then you both will be willing to make compromises and even to accept the opposite culture as better than yours.
The body is only a wrapping of something more precious- human soul, human heart, the inner values and moral, the feelings, the worldview. They are different for each of us and I don't think they are much connected with the fact what color our skin is.
What is inside us creates what is outside us, not vice versa.

I don't think anybody here has the right to debate on this because this is more of a personal choice than issue. We cant stop people from mixing or staying in their race.
My personal opinion is that none of the races on earth are endangered, whatsoever. I guess it would take another 1000 years to have all the mixing done. So you don't really need to worry about it because we wont be seeing anything like "mixing" of races.

I'm just gonna give my personal opinion this obviously won't apply to everyone.

But I think it's o.k to mix , as long as you have the same beliefs and religions then it should be o.k Like I wouldn't marry a muslim because as a christian I would want to babtize my baby at some point and muslims don't do that, and I would want to get married in a church and not a mosque. so we would constantly clash. but other than that I don't see it as a problem. I would marry a Greek or Italian, as the race and religious beliefs are the same as what I believe in. I mean having said that my Brother is going to marry someone who is a Budist and they don't want to marry in a church as she doesn't believe in that and they will not christen their baby, which at this point is very upseting for us, but it's his life and his choice. Each to their own I guess, whatever floats your boat.

I say that you should be able to see or date anyone you like as long as you get along and respect each other, race is a big thing but theres always going to be the people that dont believe in it, but do what makes you happy, and like the Lord says ,he accepts all colors of any.

If you look back far enough, you'll find that you and I are related. In my opinion, the only racial heritage that should be seriously preserved is the human race's. Heck, some of us aren't even humans anymore!
