how do i find out without testing every living thing :(

No all living things do not produce or use catalase. The presence or absence of catalase is a useful characteristic in identifying bacteria. For example Streptococcus are catalase negative, while most aerobes are catalase positive.

Wikipedia says:
"All known animals use catalase in every organ, with particularly high concentrations occurring in the liver. " There are a couple links at the bottom of the page.
