I can tell you about my husband and perhaps it might give some insight on what not to do. We have 3 cats. I have asked repeatedly for him not to feed them from his plate the cats have their own food and if he feeds them then they will be bothering us for our food etc... He kept doing it finally I asked him to respect me. he said I respect you I respect you all the time. I told him you say but you do not do. Another example is for the bedroom. I enjoy sex really really do but so does he. He has not paid attention to what I like and to what turns me on. He just throws my legs up in the air and pumps away till he is done and then gets up. This is no good. Pay attention to what she likes in the bedroom that is one good place to demonstrate how much you love her. Always tell the truth to her, and never ever cheat. If you say you will be home at 6 try like hell to be home at 6. Don't lie about where you are even if it is an innocent lie it is still a lie and breaks trust.
If she is doing something you don't like talk to her about it. If she still does it explain that that is not showing respect to you. If there is something that she really likes to do say building furniture(I don't know LOL) support her on it. Don't expect something from her that you are not willing to do yourself. I love painting and am currently trying to write a book. But because I am at home apparently my husband thinks I am his slave. I never know what he wants when he wants it.
