Are you overloading any circuits? You're not using lighting circuits to power outlets are you?

There could be a loose connection somewhere, something is pulling the voltage down. Start all the way back to the breakers and also check the grounds and neutrals too.

When you say "my power still flickers... " I assume you're saying your lamp bulb flickers when you flip the switch to
on (??)

If that's the case your problem is probably the lamp or the switch (or maybe a combination of both). If the switch is a wall switch, I'd start with making sure the bulb(s) is(are) snug in
the(ir) socket(s), their bases pressing against the socket bottom firmly. [Don't stick your finger in the socket!]

Then if that didn't solve the problem, I'd consider changing the wall switch -- if you feel safe doing it.

If the switch is on the lamp that flickers when turned on, and the lamp is plugged into a convenience outlet, I'd consider testing the outlet with another lamp. If the other lamp cks out ok, then you might look at the plug prongs of the "faulty" lamp, its switch, or whether the bulb firmly contacts the socket center --WHILE THE TROUBLE PRONE LAMP IS NOT PLUGGED IN.

If the other lamp also flickers when turned on, then I'd consider changing the convenience outlet. [Maybe I'd try yet a 3rd lamp, before replacing the outlet.]

[Actually, I'd be using test instruments to track down the problem, but that requires more technical expertise than most would want to address.]

Look at the base of the main breaker, is it burnt? Sounds like a main line or main breaker is loose or arcing. BE CAREFULL
