I'm 23, which isn't old, and my husband is 28. We've been married 2 years, We own our own home and what not, we're 'grown-ups' but we would rather play Xbox and the Wii and watch cartoons and just be goofy and have fun than anything else.

LoL well good for you ;) Nothing is worse with being stuck with a number and being expected to "act" that age. But regardless of what you do. Whether or not you play stick ball, get married or have kids doesnt automatically make you "more" mature or immature. Its how you feel on the inside and what makes you the most happiest out of life.
Im 28, have a partner of 6 years, have a 4 month old son and still feel like im 16yo. Just that there needs to be balance....to always be able to have fun, but be able to face up to every day responsibility. Cheers!

Of course i feel and act younger than my age at times (i am about to be 31) and i run a child care. those kids keep my feeling young. I have some kids on my block and they come knocking on the door asking if i want to come out and play. so if i am not super busy i will go outside and play with them. I think it keeps me young. Of course there are times though i have to act my age. sometimes i feel the same way as you, but like you said, we have jobs and pay the bills. why not have some fun here and there :)

If I comprehend the question wisely, i'd say that at about 26 is the decrease off. the reason I chosen this decision is through the undeniable fact that is what i'd evaluate the recent age to have a baby, and raise it wisely and totally; finished college, and made headway right into a occupation; your body starts to interrupt down. for sure, the speed of actual decomposition is diverse for each man or woman, and relies upon on many factors mutually with race, eating routine, and heredity. it really is purely my opinion. with the help of 27, a common man or woman maximum likely would have experienced a justifiable share, and all started to bypass down their expertise to the subsequent era.

I feel that I am younger than what I am. I think my problem comes from the fact that I had a kid at a young age and have always been so self conscious about that. I wonder if I'll ever feel the right age...

As long as you act your age when it counts, nobody should care what you do for fun. There are no set rules for being a grown up, and the "grown folks train" ain't all it's cracked up to be. Be young, have fun. Maturity is over-rated.

im 22 and i act like im 16. i like it this way. the only grown up thing about me is that i have a job and i pay bills and the fact that im married. but my husband and i are fun people and thats why we get along. i think life is short and we should spend it laughing and making memories instead of taking it seriously. dont feel left behind because of people around you, do what you please and just say "f*ck it!!"

Inside I feel like a frightened hormonal teenager or an old woman set in her ways!
Outside, I have the look of a healthy normal 39 year old!
