What would a graph look like for wavelength vs frequency if the medium of a wave is kept constant?

Would it be a direct relationship or direct to a power?

Neither. It would be an inverse relationship (a hyperbola) since frequency times the wavelength is a constant (and equal to the propagation velocity of the wave in the media).

hi, i think of the perfect answer is "decreases". E.g.: X-rays have a extra suitable potential than shall we are saying infra purple (IR). The wave lenght of X-rays is around 0.1nm (0.a million*10^(-9)m) while the wavelength of IR is around 1mm (a million*10^(-3)m).

The two are linearly inversely proportional.
