The last time I paid someone to do my hair it was for prom almost 6 years ago. I think it was $30. I just ask my mom or my sister to cut it for me now and I style my own hair (but its usually just a ponytail). I plan to get it professionally styled in July this year because my husband and I are going to some gala thing his work is doing and we're supposed to look good.

i just got my hair layered and styled yesterday for $15.50 and thats cheap, u have to go to those cheap hairdressers, u dont even need an appointment
my sister drives far and pays around $150 for some foils and a trim, RIPP OFF
i prefer cheap and nasty

No, they're not a ripoff. They have top make a living just like the rest of us. I pay $11.00 plus a tip. And I tip good too. Like I said, they need the money just as much as we do.

Yes- that's why I do my own hair. I cut it, style it, everything. I check out books from the library to get info on how to do all that. Besides, I just plain don't trust anyone with my hair.

Why do you say that? I'm about to graduate as a Cosmetologist. Myself, I think I do a great job for the money. It's not high end.

no, expensive clothes and shoes make me feel ripped off. I have problem hair and those girls are geniuses for 22 bucks.

Couldnt tell you, my hair is down to my bum, dont remember when the last time was that I cut it, and dont cut my hubbies hair either, his is past his waist... I have got to mark this one to come back to just to see the answers my own self ... lol
