Personally, I love Denny's, but like others have said, it does really depend on which one you go to. I've never had a horrible experience at Denny's, but certainly some are better than others. If you're in an area where the Denny's restaurants don't seem up to snuff, try IHOP.

When I was a kid, my family traveled a lot (a lot as in I'd seen the entire East coast by the time I was 16). We seemed to eat at Denny's every morning for breakfast. I liked it then, but I was a kid. What did I know?
I think the place is pretty crappy. I'd rather go to Perkin's, Village Inn, or Baker's Square. But then again, I don't have to make that choice because every Denny's in my home city closed down years ago. They were all filthy.
Interestingly, the building that housed one of those Denny's was renovated and transformed into the best damn restaurant in this city!

It's a place for cheap food anytime you want it. No one I know ever raves about Denny's unless they're extremely hungry and it's the only thing open. I've enjoyed Denny's plenty of times, but if it's midday and I have the choice of 20 other places, Denny's wouldn't even beat out a Wendy's or KFC(by the way, we all know Wendy's and KFC has better food than Denny's, but those two specialize while Denny's offers you a bigger choice). Denny's is alright, but if you go there at 4 am, you're almost guaranteed to be served by crackheads.

I think it depends on which Denny's you go to, here in Mi I have great service, but while traveling I have ran into some good and bad service at Denny's. As for the food it depends on the cook, you can order the same thing at different Denny's and its never tastes the same, but that is true in any chain operated diners.

Denny's is not that great-though the one closest to me is fairly clean: and is the only place open 24 hours here in Wichita, Kansas, too.
I remember one time on a road trip with my parents we had stopped there in another state and the food was extremely greasy, everyone felt sick afterwards.

I think Denny's is a fantastic place to get food at 3 am, but no place can compare to the Waffle House. If you're in California, though, I figure Denny's must be one of the best options for late night culinary delight.
Any place I can get hash browns makes me happy, so I guess I'm pretty easy to please.

I think alot of people will agree Dennys is a good place for breakfast but other than that stay away there to expensive for dinner and usaly not that good.
The breakfast are probably the best thing and reasonable in price.

I think there commercials look good but they don't have enough restaurants! The closest one to me is 50 miles! And they play that d**n commercial every other commercial break!
Every time I have been there is was fine. The food was pretty good, the wait was a bit long, but we have that at IHOP every time we go.
