We have Mother's day, Father's day, Grandparents day, aunt and uncle appreciation day.....Seems to me these are all geared for adults to recieve gifts from children...They all have birthdays, isn't this enough? That is all our children have.
Why is it that the kids only have the standard birthday?

Please don't say Christmas and all of that. Adults have the same holidays and enjoy it just as much most of the time. Why is there not a Children's day?

How many of you have ever really thought about this and what would you think if one were put into the calendar?

Thumbs up to everyone...Thanks for answering!

Children's day is a wonderful idea, infact, so wonderful, that they already have it and celebrate it every June 1st in China.

I think we ought to drop alot of those silly days. Sweetest Day, Mother and Father day, Secretary Day, Valentines, and a whole bunch more. What good are they except to companies that make cards are sell appropriate gifts for those days. Lets confine it to Thanksgiving and one or two assorted religious holidays from varying religions. Cut out Halloween while were at it. Look at what families would save on expenses.

Let me explain it like this: If you are a child, and by that I mean anyone who lives with their parents without paying their own way regardless of their age, EVERY day is children's day. Most kids are spoiled rotten, and they don't have to lift a finger to provide for themselves. That pretty much sounds like mother's day, doesn't it?
