My fiance filled his income taxes on March 28, 2007 (by mail) and he is still waiting on his income tax check too and we live in Toledo,OH. He has spoken with someone from the Ohio Taxation Department and they told him it could be 6-8 weeks!! He always has been checking with the I.R.S refund hotline and you can give them a try to the number is:
1-800-829-1954
I hope this will be some help to you.
GOOD LUCK!

Go to the IRS website and click on the "Where's My Refund" link. http://www.irs.gov

Unless you filed a joint return with your ex, the IRS cannot touch your refund for his tax debts.
