None of us were laughing on that day. Shame on you for trying to use such a tragedy for entertainment. Can't you get over the Civil War? It is ancient history and most of us are pleased with the results. The north didn't treat the blacks any better but that wasn't us it was many generations ago.

I live in the South (Alabama) and I have never heard of any one laughing about NY and 911. I work at an University and a few days after 911 we had a massive Prayer and Remembrance Ceremony to honor those who lost their lives in the attacks.

Also, I know several people (myself included) that traveled to NY on vacation a few months after 911 and we had nothing but good things to say about people from NY when we returned.

If some idiots (that happened to live in the South) laughed or acted disrespectfully, it wasn't because they are Southern - they are just bad Americans.

911 brought NY into most peoples hearts and people from the entire country really learned to care for others after 911.

I did not see southerners laughing at 9/11. They were just as distraught over 9/11 as most americans were. They attacked America not just New York.

That is a horrible lie!
I don't know one person who didn't weep openly and do everything they could to help out our northern Brothers and Sister's. Some loaded up and headed that way other's sent money and relief items...
BTW..we got past the civil war decades ago...some of us even have relatives in the north.

When NY was attacked and the towers fell, the North, South,East and West, was melted together by such a force, that someones Mother, father, sister and brother became our very own. We could not distinguish ones family from our own, and we grieved together as a nation as a family.

Name one, name one group. What a hateful thing to say about fellow Americans that all shared the tragedy of 9/11
If you are not ashamed of your self your parents failed at raising a descent person and are ashamed of you
You fail your parents and spit on all Americans with all this hate in your heart for America
You have failed at being a human too
If being united is anything like you I want to stay divided for ever rather than be a lowlife hate monger like you

Nobody in this country laughed on 9/11. You should be ashamed for suggesting they did.

I don't believe that they did. 9-11 was a source of brief but effective national unity. Have a good day.

More hate mongering. Why do some people try to cause strife. No one laughed all of us cried together. Whoever said that is a moron.
