I'd buy a bike. Since I can't drive, I'm not burdened by the price of gas. And seeing the trend, I suppose I'll never drive a pure gas-powered car in my life.
I think what people should do for the enviroment and their wallets is to find alternate ways to get to places: e.g. buses, carpool, black magic.... etc. Buying some shoes aren't that reasonable though. Some people actually find buying shoes to be an exciting pastime.
What I would suggest to you and the rest of the world is to start getting bicycles or smaller cars. Most of the time when you are driving, you only use up about 1/8 of all the space. The rest of the metal and junk just costs you money for gas. So, next time, go buy a bike. It'll probably be cheaper than a full tank of gas.

Oil is now $seventy 2 a barrel and gasoline is $2.ninety 9 a gallon the position I stay. Do you imagine we are being manipulated?

The enviro-wacko libs must be laughing their heads off right now. The evil plan of democrats to strangle businesses and the rich through high gas prices by doing things like opposing nuclear energy, new drilling, and new refineries is paying off in spades!!! The problem is, the people most hurt by it is their voting base, the poor. They wont have enough gas money to get to the jobs they are about to get laid off from.
Libs have no plans for our economy other than high taxes and high gas prices. Nobody works harder to keep us on foreign oil than libs and they couldnt be happier about it!

I'm so amazed at the Liberals complaining about the price of gas! Doesn't this work well with your global warming concerns?
Or is that just politics, too?

When it gets high enough, serious inventors and engineers will find another source of energy to fuel them.
During WW-II Germany ran cars and trucks using wood for fuel.
Today we are closer to electric cars. We must and will eliminate inefficient vehicles.
We also have to figure out where our electricity will come from. I suspect there will be a crash program to build many nuclear power plants.

Perhaps riding a bicycle to work or jogging would help out a bit. Also, public transportation is a nice way to travel. Have a good day.
