I'm making my mother a Birthday card and I'd like some ideas.
^_^ Thank you!

I have two sisters, a brother, and she has two dogs, I have two dogs, and my sister has two dogs. So, what I did was draw cartoon-ish pictures of all of us on a card! She loved it (did I mention this was last mother's day?). Anything you do, she'll love it because it will be made by you and from the heart!

if you make her a card, try using some Elmers glitter glue on the front of the card to make the flowers glitter. Use those zig zag scissors to cut the front edge of the card off. Try to find a nice verse to put on the inside that would describe how you feel toward your mom. Hope this helps.

I have gotten lazy with my old age and send e-cards but I would have to say from making and buying I agree with you making the card also makes it more special because you made them a one of a kind card that is just for them and nobody else.

I usually use a combination of styles on my cards. I start with a photo I've taken, dry emboss the corners or down the sides, maybe stickers, glitter pens, or a flower held down with a brad.
Write from the heart about what she's done for you and means to you.

http://ivyjoy.com/printcards/birthday.html Birthday greeting cards you make, print, and fold.

Paint, draw or color something on the front.

The value of expressing emotion to enhance relationships cannot be overstated. It's often hard, though, to say your positive feelings out loud; it's easier to write them. A poem is an easy way to say "I think you're special."

big white board, markers, pictures of things your mom likes (hobbies, flowers, food, family, friends, magazine pics), glue or rubber cement

Fold the white board in half... decorate... be creative with the card. Maybe put a poem in the middle of the card telling your mom how much you appreciate and care about her.

Good Luck! :)
