I'm really not liking what the WWE has become. If anyone's like me and misses the old days, rant about it here.

Hello there Trish :)

Yep , in that time WWF was about Attitude, and the monday night wars, they were less silly gimmick and thanks to that all this cornestones you know turn to heel(almost all) , and put a hell of a show

I watch WWE now but I am disappointed about how it is these days.
I wish I could've been a kid in the 80s instead of being born in '87, There were alot of funny interviews and awesome wrestlers (from what I saw on tapes). I missed when Vince was actually a decent human being instead of this raving egotistical maniac he is now. I think it was best before the whole "Montreal Incident" the Attitude era was okay, but that is what lead to what it is now.
I miss Bret Hart, Sycho Sid/Sid Justice, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, and many more. I just wish it was like the old days
when there weren't all these cat fights and overexposed divas that most can't wrestle anyway. It just seems like Vince just doesn't care too much these days....
I have been perusing EBay for some old WWF stuff and just trying to find some tapes or DVDs or things like that, so I can relive some memories (at least '94-'99 for me) and discover new ones.

I know it's pointless to say. but I hate the World Wildlife Fund
But I'm sure even if they would've been able to keep it WWF, Vince would probably still have lead it to this direction. So I guess either way it prob. would be the same.....
I will still watch it because I don't think all is bad, but I will say that it was definitely better back in the Federation days, IMHO

Sorry for the long post

I dont have a long winded answer for this one but I couldnt agree with you more. These story lines today are stupid. While some are mildly entertaining, Its become too much of a drama and not really sports entertainment. I mean I cant even tell you all of the title holders right now but I can remember where I was and what I was doing when Hulk fought King Kong Bundy at wrestlemania with the two midgets or when Slick managed Bad news Brown or when Ravishing Rick Rude pulled woman into the ring and made out with them. Or even when Ted Debiase Teamed up with Andre to form " The mega bucks". You remember Tito Santana, Koko B ware or JYD? What about Bruno San Martino(RIP), Vince when he was a commentator, Hilbilly Jim, Kamala, The Honkey-tonk Man,Curt Henning(RIP), Paul Orndorf, Big John Studd, Saturday night main event and hulk hogans rockin wrestling? Sorry, I guess this is getting long. Yeah, it takes me back too. I guess its also the age we are too. It was more interesting when I was younger.

I totally agree with you trish..i really miss the old WWF. I mean though we knew its all fake but compare to the story lines now to the old days..it far from what i have expected. But what can i do? I am hooked on watching wrestling since young till now.. Well just see what will they have in store in future..i am see how it goes..who knows i might as well quit watching WWE in future if they still produce this kind boring story lines? And yes, the moves of the wrestlers nowadays are not so convicing compared to the older times..

WWF/WWE has to alter to maintain up the situations. everybody thinks the era that they "grew up" in replaced into the main suitable. i all started observing WWF in 1986 & nevertheless watch it on the instant. I in basic terms pick to take a seat down back and luxuriate in 5 new hours of WWE a week & see what unfolds.
