Do you see colors in your dreams that you cannot identify?
My colorblind husband can still see red(not too well) and yellow(very well), but that's it. Unless he is hit on the head, in which case he sees all sorts of colors, and he cannot tell me what they are!

He dreams in black, white and gray.

colorblind people.. controversial topic what if a colorblind person thinks that all they are seeing is black and white, but they actually do see color. there's really no way to ever know for sure but. probably black and white if they really are.

interesting question :) my ex husband who's colorblind could dream in color but since he sees red as green and vice versa, red things appear as green to him and green as red, that's what he told me. i don't know about others though.

A person who is color blind, can only experience colors that they can see. They would have no concept of what the other colors are.

do regular dreams have colours too?

the short answer is yes. your dreams still have colour because one's brain remembers the hues. colour blindness causes your eyes to absorb certain pigments weaker than others.

if your husband remembers what colours look like, then why should this be an issue

That is very interesting. You would still think that he would dream in colour as he can see in colour but just not the same as we see
