I'll be perfectly honest and tell you after 30yrs of marriage it's still the best decision I've ever made and we've been very happy together....Why it's good is that we can moan and groan and laugh about all the things we've experienced over the years and that doesn't even come close to the comfort and support that is between us. it's great to know that you have someone backing you to the hilt no matter what. It is better than nice, it is fanwonderfultastic... I'm his Queen and he is my King, we live a laid back life, we enjoy each others company, give one another the space that we need. We probably spend more time together than most married couples, but that is the way we like it... We shar the good the bad and the ugly... Never fight, but that is not saying that there have not been some differences, but we always work thru them...We couldnt imagine not being married ... but we didnt need the peice of paper to feel that we were apart of one anothers lifes nor did we need it to feel secure with our partnership, it just makes things easier with one of us being a USA cit and the other a Canadian cit...

If you're ready for it-(after living with a girlfriend I was close to, I felt like I was married & all we did was fight most of the time, & then we broke up) anyways, I'm happy being single & free from it.

Yes it is great because get to share all your life experience with someone you love, the good and the bad days, you can help each other through them and carry on regardless. Plus the sex is fab cause you can trust each other entirely and try loads of new stuff lol :)

If you have the right partner, it will be the best thing ever in your life. It will still have its ups and downs, but you can share your world with someone you love more than your own self. If you can love someone more than your own self, then you can increase that love by creating children with that one you love. So many negatives answers indicate ones that have not found that someone, or cannot love beyond themselves.

Yes it is bliss to have someone your age to share your life with. Better than spending 27 years with your boring old mother. I mean to an extent spending time with your mom is ok. But if you stay for too long one does get sick.
