Hi there Charles R, Overall, it is nice to have children. Nature is a wonderful thing, because the vast majority of parents love their children unconditionally, which is just as well, because children can be very hard work to bring up and look after, plus, they can really try your patience alot of the time. But most would say that it is worth it.

Yes it nice, I have 5 (ok they are not children anymore)
My first two were really great experiences for me, the
oldest is a boy and I was thrilled because that is what I
wanted first, then we had a girl and she was just so cute.
There is a bit of an emotional roller coaster going on
though, not so much with the boy but our daughter almost
died, she was allergic to some medication that the doctor
gave her.
My next two children were both girls, the 3rd had brown
eyes (eventually) and the fourth was even more of a joy
the last one was a boy.
There is just something that is almost indescribable
about being a father. My wife didn't think that she would
ever be a good mother but I have to tell you she did
a very suburb job.
Yes, it cost money and my wife and I did with out the
things that we wanted but we learned that "THINGS"
don't make a difference as long as we had food and
a place to sleep we were happy.
Now the kids are all grown up, our job is done. If I had it
to do all over, I would do it just the same.

Where I live its believed that if parents can raise their children into responsible citizens of their country, then parents have returned obliges of their own parents.
Children bring life into home. Their innocent little words and imperfection in every action, thought and speech make us giggle. They share their excitement about what they learnt new today. For adults, everything is old and boring. But when its about a child you want to learn everything like a child. You want to think and behave like a child. You enjoy the whole experience of being with the school-going kid.

These people that tell you it is the greatest thing have fooled themselves. They will never admit that they hate it, because that is a social taboo. Just ask your friends, in private, how they really feel. Deep inside they regret having children. Their relationships suffer as a result of having them. Just go around you workplace. Look into the cubicles of people that are married. It is always the same story. There will be photographs of children, but none of spouses.

It is a joy to have children, whether they are your biological or not. It is so amazing to watch these little guys and girls grow up. Its so amazing to see yourself in them too. My daughter is not my husband's biological child, but people comment on how much she is like him, her mannerisms. I wondered how it would be to have more than one, and I finally found out, some days you just have to explain that there are two of them, one of me, but all in all I enjoy my life with my children, I am grateful everyday that I get to be part of their lives and I get to experience things through their eyes.

Wonderful, is the better explanation. They bring unexplainable joy to your life. Everyday is something new through their eyes. Also, you will never, ever really understand unconditional love (the true meaning of it) until you have children of your own. :o) Then the grandchildren. Oh, my!
They are truly gifts from God! I am not exaggerating, one bit.

It depends on the day. Today, my sweet little son (he is almost 6) kept me from going flat INSANE. Other days, he drives me CRAZY! And my daughter (she is almost 13) is so sweet and compassionate. Sometimes she picks on her little brother though!! But i love both of my kids very much...they are my lifeline to reality at times. i would not trade them for anything. Best wishes!

It's wonderful, amazing and very difficult. It is also scary considering the world in which we live. My kid is more fun than a barrel of monkeys, but sometimes I feel bad about bringing her into this dangerous world.

It's not nice to have kids it's WONDERFUL. I love my kids to bits, watching them grow up, achieving things, and enjoying themselves. Christmas and Birthdays are really special. But I hate it when people have kids and don't really want them, Its a big responsibility.
