Yeah, I was at a very nice, expensive restaurant in Washington D.C. and ordered crab imperial. It was full of shells. I couldn't believe it!

I have been to the restaurants at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. I had great food and exceptional service.
At any other "fancy" restaurant" I am usually disappointed and have an oversized bill.
I would rather save my money, cook at home and go to the CIA once or twice a year. That is me.

The Keg. What a joke that place is. We each ordered steak and the only thing on
the plate was the steak, a potato, and some tiny puff pastry with something that
looked like peas or something. It was mostly pastry and wasn't even that good. The woman that waited on us had a terrible attitude and scowled every time she went past. This is a lot of years ago. The same meal today is $30 or more because they moved to a fancy new building. It is a real joke.

Yes, more than once. I was in one restaurant the service was lousy, the food cold, could not get a glass of water, etc. I left with no tip and waiter had the nerve to follow me to the car complaining about no tip. I said you don't deserve one! I never went back, either.

YES, i have! It was this posh French restaurant in Kettering Ohio. The maitre d' was just nasty to me...he seemed to have a horrible attitude toward women! He was debonair to my date (a man) but sneered at me and completely looked down his nose at me. The food was horrible...my salad had WAY too much garlic on it (and i even LIKE garlic) and it seemed very overpriced for what we got and the pathetic service. i would never go back there. No, indeed i would not.

I wouldn't really say it was a "bad" experience, just a wierd one.
I was 16 at the time. My dad (51 yrs) and I were at a soccer tournament in Denver Co (I live in Tx. btw), and we decided to go to Ruth's Chris steak house (*manifique*).
When we went inside and the hostess said "hello, oh yes, I know the perfect place to sit ya'll."
She put us in this smallish room and said "ya'll can be alone in here" (then winked at my dad). Then she asked for our drinks... (I was like did she just wink at my dad? and so we can be ?alone? huh?)
Then as she waked out she said, "Let me dim the lights for you too; to make it more romantic."
WTF....we laughed soOoosoOoOoo hard at that one!!!
One of the stories we look back on today and still get a kick out of it...

Ya totally. I went with my family. I was wearing these really uncomfortable high heal shoes. And I got up to go to the bathroom and I slipped and fell on the floor. Everyone was looking at me. So embarrassing
