I'd much rather go to jail for shooting a perp... than have the perp go to jail for shooting me!!! (but that's only a personal preference)

I ALWAYS carry a gun, but I'm under that federal law that lets me do it in all 50 states as retired law enforcement after 21 years. I have and hope I don't need it....

Psshh. This is a giveaway questions how could anyone choose b over a? The word NEED makes all the difference in this sentence and to have a gun and not need it sure beats not having one in time of need.
This could be the difference between life and death and I would sure prefer having life in my court with a gun than otherwise.

It's better to have the gun and be well trained in it's use and never need it. Statistics show that where there are more liberal concealed carry laws the crime rate is lower. Criminals will always have whatever they want regardless of what ever laws are out there.

I have always made it a point to have a weapon close by, and I know how and when to use them. I'd rather have to go to court or jail than be buried any day.
