Read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Here are the books.

1. The Gunslinger (I've already read)
2. The Drawing of the Three (I have also read)
3. The Waste Lands (I am currently reading)

The rest of these I have not read:

4. Wizard and Glass
5. Wolves of the Calla
6. Song of Sussanah
7. The Dark Tower

At the end of the last book, there is the poem that was the inspiration for this series: Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came by Robert Browning.

A MUST READ IF YOU ARE A SCI-FI/HORROR READER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are into Gothic Horror, try Laurell K Hamiltons "Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter" series, or the "Necroscope" series by Brian Lumley

For comic misadventure of the D&D sort, try Robert Lynn Asprins "Myth" series

Want space adventures? Try the "Ender" series. Sorry, can't remember the author right now, but the first book is titled "Enders Game".

Comic relief in the Space Legion? Robert Asprin again, with his well rendered "Phules Company" series.

Prehistoric Sci-Fi? Harry Harrison's "Eden" series is exceptional.

Of course but it depends on what type of books you enjoy. Mary Higgins Clark, James Patterson, Tami Hoag, and Sandra Brown are excellent mystery authors.

Miyada-the daughter of Iraq. It's not mystery or suspense but it is the true story of a woman in iraq, I didn't think I will like it, i am more into sydney sheldon and daniel steel, but after reading it I really enjoyed it. Also try the PRINCESS.
