First, they clean your face(make up remove and general cleaning), than follow peeling, and with certain tools to clean the pores ( like the blackhead), massage your face. The final is to apply the mask. While you are waiting for the mask to be ready, usually 20-30 minutes, you would get massage for you head and arms. The prices are varies depends on what you want to pay and choose what kind of product lines. If you want the eyes area, neck or chest to be improved, it will cost you more. Don't be surprise they will trim the eye brow for you.
With all kind of new technology, they have special machine
to improve the large pores, feeding the face collagen, lifting the face...anything you can think of.
I don't think they will CURE black heads but it will help you to maintain the clean face for a litter longer than usual if you have the right one done.
If you want to save money for now, try to use the black heads strips, they are easy to use. But the important thing followed the strips, try to find one mask that is suit for you which will contract the pores, tighten the skin, control the oil and replenish the moisture.

A good facial can be a small Godsend! I had the BEST facial at a place called Cornelia Day Resort in NYC once. My skin glowed for a week after, and it was so smooth!

Generally a facial includes a cleansing process, extractions (where they pop your zits and take out the black/white heads), a masque, a toner application, a steam, and a moisturizing treatment. Also, they generally have an exfoliating treatment somewhere in there. The esthetician will look at your skin before hand to tell what kind of products she needs to use on you. There are lots of fancy things that they can do, but what I said is the standard European style facial.

How much they cost depends on your area. A facial at an upscale place here in DC costs about $85 and are about an hour long (most facials are an hour). Check a few spas in your area.

A facial doesn't "cure" skin problems, but it does help. Also the esthetician can teach you what products to you in order to take care of your skin so it looks better.

Quite frankly, I think a smooth, even, radiant complexion can be one of a women's best assets. Getting a facial once in a while can be one of the best ways to maintain that.

Getting a facial is like getting your teeth cleaned at the dentist - you wash your face daily just like you brush your teeth but you need to go to the dentist to get your teeth professionally cleaned as should you have your face professionally cleaned.

During a facial, the aesthetician cleans your face, steams your face to bring out the impurities, extracts any blemishes or clogged pores. A facial is great for blackhead issues. The aesthetician also massages your face and uses a professional masque. Then moisturizes your face.

I highly recommend getting a facial once every 4-6 weeeks if you can afford it. Facials run anywhere from $45 to $125 depending on what type of facial you choose. Do your research and ask around if a friend, family member or co-worker can recommend a facialist to you.

Good luck!

I have never gotten one, but I have heard of them! I guess there are many different types of facials! Some of them are really relaxing, and some of them are strictly to clean up your clogged pores. Some of them they actually pick out all of the little blackheads from your nose! They have a wide range of costs----20-500!! Just depends on where you go and what you have done./.....call around to some spas and ask them what a good starter facial is and price them! If you want to look younger for a longer time, than you should probably get facials!

Yes a facial will really help for your blackheads. I love facials and which I could afford it more often. They usually range from 30 minutes to an hour but you can get one for any amount of time. It deep cleanses your faces and they go in and remove the blackheads and squeeze out any white heads. I would not want to go anywhere the same day you have it done because your face will be red and tender.

Facials run anywhere between $40 to $70 depending on what you are getting... My facials are $50 for a deep pore cleaning for sensitive skin prone to breakouts.
Its a very relaxing experience while she is massaging your skin but we aware once the extracting begins it is a bit painful, don't worry you will look fabulous the day after... Usually right after the facial your skin is a bit tender, depending on how much the person has to extract.. The more breakouts, blackheads or dirty your pores are the more she has to extract. For clear skin you should do them at least once a month.

Facials feel really nice, but they certainly do not "cure" anything. Your skin looks really nice right after getting them, but after a couple of days goes back to normal. They put several products on, depending on the amount of money you are paying and how long the facial is timewise. They usually are between 30 -60 minutes. Cost varies depending on the place, but be prepared to spend at least 50 bucks, then tip. Try one if you want, but if you are looking for a more permanent solution to your skin worries, use everyday products that work well for your skin.
