Does spinal fusion work for the lower back?

it can work very well, but it's a tough surgery to go through. my dad did this, but he is much better now. it took about a year to heal fully. ask your doctor all the question you can think of, be prepared when going back and write down any questions you have (so, you don't forget them)

My husband had a spinal fusion at L1 L2 a year ago last April.

While he still has a way to go to completely heal, he is much much better than before the surgery.

He is 60
