An unknown intruder.
They found evidence but it was suppressed because they wanted to convict the parents.
They have DNA from her body that does not match anybody they have interviewed to date.
That is why the Boulder police went to such expense to fly John Karr over from Thailand a few months ago for a DNA test.
They are finally trying to match the DNA found on the child to the real murderer.
They have other evidence of an intruder as well , a foot print on the basement window that does not match anyone they have interviewed to date.
More information kept quite by the police ,
38 registered sex offenders lived within a 2 mile radius of the Ramsey's house. Thirty eight !!!!
More than 100 burglaries occurred in Ramsey's neighborhood in the months prior to the murder.

This will probably be one of the 'cold cases' that will never be solved. But I firmly don't believe it was any of JonBenet's family members, as so many people seem to think. I think it could have been the old man who dressed up as Santa Claus just a few days before, and was apparently familiar with the Ramsey house. This will be one of the most infamous murder cases in the history of crime. -RKO- 05/03/07

I think an intruder killed JonBenét,and I don't think her parents or anyone in her family had anything to do with her murder. But as everyone has already said,JonBenét's case will be one of the many cold cases that will probably never be solved.

I will always believe Patsy did it.
There is an excellent book written by the lead detective on the case. It's not sensationalized or gory. It just lays out all the facts. Including rebuttals to the Benet's "cooperation" with the law.
She's a creepy woman. And if you watch her face very, very closely during interviews, you can tell something is off.
