Food memories....things your Gradma made...Mom or Dad made?
For me it's my Granny's date squares she made and she used to bring us those Hostess Cupcakes!! loved em.
My Dad made these things that are like Crepes, and we always ate it with Lipton Chicken Noodle soup...ahhh soo good. Oh and my Dad's apple crisp
My Mom made homemade strawberry jam and when we were kids and would go tobaggoning she would make us tomato soup and put it in these plastic soup cups...they are good memories.

Every Halloween my mom would make these special Halloween bars. They had coconut and chocolate and buttescotch chips and they were sooo good. Also every Christmas my mom would let us skip school for a day so we could stay home and make Christmas cookies. I miss those days.

My dad made us kids breakfast every weekend.My favorite was chorizo and eggs. Mom made the best fried chicken and creamed eggs on toast, but my favorite was the Macaroni and Cheese Mug a Lunch my sister and I would eat for lunch with corn dogs during summer vacation.I really miss Mug a Lunch.

My Moms Holiday Dinners, she passed a few years back and we always talk that the Holiday Food just isn't the same. She would cook for a week before the Holiday.American and Greek food and boy oh boy could she cook.

Take-out pizza. It was really good, and came from a pizzeria that's no longer in business. My mother didn't like cooking, and my father refused to, so we ate out most of the time or had TV dinners. On payday, Dad would bring home pizza.

1. my southern grandma used to make the best chocolate cake; plus, was always cooking- rice and field peas or green fried tomatos - I especially like to eat breakfast with her- grits and bacon w/biscuits
2. my italian granda lived in Penn. was a good cook too but made pasta and stuff like that... once when i was little I went to visit her and she asked me what I wanted to eat- she would cook me anything I wanted and being from the south- I said "corn on the cob" and she found some corn and cooked it for me

I don't remember anything specific from childhood but when I was older my mother could make a fabulous Strawberry Dream Cake.
