I am 5 9 and my doctor told me that I should be around 150-165 lbs. I think you would be too thin if you decided to lose another 15lbs.

One measure of "overweight" and "underweight" is body mass index (BMI). There's an easy-to-use BMI calculator for adults on this government Web page:
http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ .

According to this calculator, at 5'9" and 145 pounds, you have a BMI of 21.4, which is in the middle of the normal range of 18.5 - 24.9 for adults. At 130 pounds, you'll still be in the normal range with a BMI of 19.2. So if you'd feel better about yourself at 130 pounds, go for it, but don't overdo it; according to this tool, anything under 125 is considered underweight for your height.

You don't give your age, but if you're under 20, there's more to the story. You might want to read about BMI and young people (aged 2-19) on another government Web site, here:
http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/childrens_BMI/about_childrens_BMI.htm

This site has a separate calculator for children and teens that combines BMI with the young person's age and gender. The results page gives more than just a number. Give it a try here:
http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx

Good luck.

Im VERY athletic and really, im not overweight. but muscle weighs more than fat, and 120-130 for someone 5.9 is totally not realistic if you actually have the strenght to lift your stiletto off the hardwood.

It depends on what body type you are. For instance, if you have thin bones you might be overweight, but if you have thick bones you might not be.
