Im in the second year in the Harvest Moon: Friends of mineral town and I cant seem to get to year 3. What am I doing wrong? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

you DO realize, i'm sure, that this game is not like the gamecube game, where years will pass by when you hit certain objectives, like having a baby
in friends of mineral town, to get to year three, you need to get to the last day of winter in year two, and then go to bed
that is ALL you have to do to get to year three
also, there is no actual END to the game - it can go on forever, to year 999 and probably beyond

Yes, I think that if your not married you may not get past year 3.
