Anyone notice that America ended years ago?

The only people who remember America's greatness are DEAD!! The "greatest" nation on earth...looks pretty beat.

You can hope all you want...but AMerica only exists in name now....and will very likely never return. But when it was great...it was the greatest nation for it's time. No nation will replace it in our lifetime, but there will be a great nation once again. Unfortunately America although America grew faster than any nation in history, it fell faster than any nation. Rome, Greece, Babylon, Egypt, Ottoman Empire, the hindus, etc. have lasted far longer.

Someone's been watching too much TV.

The whole world revolves around the US and our technology.
Our technology doubles every few months. The way our children learn and socialize now will be unimaginably different in a few years. The way your doctor treats you will be unimaginably different too. Etc, etc, etc.

China and India would not be where they are today. Neither would Japan or Korea or Europe. South Africa can thank Ronald Regan directly for their freedom.

We are not the farmers we were in WWII which our marketing departments called "the greatest generation". It was easy back then to be better than our parents back then - most of our parents didn't have high school diplomas back then, now our children have MBAs.

I agree, the Liberals have totally destroyed this once great country.

I am thinking that we Conservatives should all relocate to another country. Within 5 years, it will be the new America. And the old America, with it's 99.99999999% tax rate, heterosexual marriage ban, and punishing people for trying to open a business, will fall apart under the weight of a failed Marxist state (so much for the Liberal paradise.)

When that happens and all the Liberals have died off, we'll just go back and restore it to it's former glory.

Then why do people continue to try to immigrate here for the opportunities they can have by working hard in this country?

This country is still great. However if some legislators have their way we will just become a turn tail bully..... That's the real problem.

Well, I was feeling pretty good for awhile today. Doggone it when I got on answers, I found out the US had just died. Will I lose my pension too? I was just starting to like the place and now it is dead.

America is a very young country, at least as far as colonization. We are like a cocky teenager who thinks they know everything, we are in for a big dose of reality, but everybody just keep shopping and don't think about it and everything will be OK...

im totally with you on that one brother...so much corruption and greed...by our own government even...its way too depressing...and everyone hates us...i honestly wouldnt be surprised if we got nuked some day...which is very disturbing. im gettin outta here. MOVE TO CANADA!
