than getting angry and telling a survivor of domestic abuse that you don't blame their abuser?

wow, who have you been talking to today? yes it is ignorant and immature, and it is demeaning, and corrupt, especially if they fought their cause like they were right to the end, leaving that person to be brainwashed that it is all (their) the victims fault, and they should just back down the next time someone abuses them, cause they deserved it. That is how the cycle starts, when they lose their will to fight because someone made them believe it was all their fault, makes me think that the person who said that must be an abuser.

No, that is horrible. Domestic abuse is no laughing matter, or something to pull into a dispute as a weapon.

ummm No there isn't! However, it sounds like that person keeps attracting the same kind of significant other & needs to get some therapy before entering anymore relationships!

Why makes a person so angry enough to say something that hurtful is beyond me, but I believe people can be so angry and be hurtful when really they don't really mean it.

yes, i've been there, i hear ppl say all the time "She must like it or she'd leave" i want to tell them to f*ck off! No one knows unless their in the situation.
