What would you do if you lost your driver's license due to illness?

I grew up on a small farm. My dream was always to live on the ocean and I've done that. Now, I live on a small peninsula on the East Coast that does not have public transportation. Last year, I lost my driver's license due to illness but I'm no hwere near retirement age. Where would you move? What would you do?
