To Bush, win means the establishment of a government in Iraq that is able to govern and is friendly to the USA above all others. A government that will further American interests and will be an ally against American enemies.
The problem for America is that the cost of continuing to do what we are doing is enormous and the benefits of achieving it may not justify the cost.
People in the middle east know that America is not their friend, besides, they have little to loose, they hate what America is doing, so the number of people willing to fight America is huge.

We have no clue.
The war in Iraq is not winnable with the military that we have. If we started a draft and put 500,000 or more boots on the ground then we would be able to shut the country down, but for how long? And I thought we were trying to start a democratic free society in Iraq - not a police state crawling with foreign troops.
As soon as we started pulling back, more terrorist would flood in and start killing people again.
Peace can only come if the US leaves and the country is Federalized and three autonomous states are created.

Once again, you libs show how out of touch with reality and our purpose for being in Iraq you truly are. But than again, you all are more concerned with fighting "man-made" global warming (which is a complete farse) than you are about dealing with enemies whose documented intent is the destruction of our way of life by whatever means necessary.
So I shall, once again, state our goals for Iraq. 1) Establish a democratically elected government choosen by the people (ACCOMPLISHED). 2) Train and stand-up a new Iraqis army and police forces so that the Iraqis people can protect and defend themselves (IN-PROCESS, Iraqi Army has operational control over at least 14 provinces) . 3) Reconstruct the Iraqi infrastructure to provide better services for ALL Iraqis (ACCOMPLISHED). 4) Assist the Iraqis in developing and implementing their own Constitution thereby helping to ensure certain rights for ALL Iraqis citizens (ACCOMPLISHED).
The attempt with regards to terrorism in Iraq is NOT the destruction of all terrorists but something beyond the realm of understanding for the typical liberal. The goal is to remove Iraq as a safe haven and training area for terrorists. By us standing by the Iraqis, the hope is that the Iraqi people will want to remove the terrorist from their country and secure their own borders.

This is just one big mess, we need to get our troop's the hell out, because most Iraqi's don't want our troop's there, so what the hell is it going to take for them to be pulled out, Iran is going to move right in there whenever we leave, they are thee biggest majority within this Iraqi's government already, so it's like flogging a dead horse, this war cannot be won militarily alone, ultimately the solution can only come from the people of the middle east themselves, but I do still truly believe that Iran is the greatest threat that the world has know to date, and if we are going to eventually have it out with them then I see Iraq as just another blimp on the map, we cannot solve any problem's whatsoever in the middle east, because they hate us, period, so what the hell are our son's and daughter's doing over there?? obviously they are not wanted regardless of their effort's and lives maimed and lost, all these middle easterner's have shown us, is that they are still living way back in the stone age, so let them be, and let nature take it's course when we IE: America,,Britain and Israel,,, retaliate big time, and on their own heads be it.
But first and foremost America and Britain really need to get their fingers out their butt's and get the border's under control, PRONTO.

The purpose for us to set up a government for the Iraqis and by the Iraqis is for them to govern themselves. If we had people from Canada coming over here to destroy the government we as a people would join to fight the Canadians because we have something to fight for.

Drop the hydrogen bomb on Bagdad, and this will get their attention that we are serious about winning. If Iran doesn't like our actions, drop another H-bomb on Tehran the following day.. Any other Muslim S.O.B.s have any questions about our resolve?

They don't. Bush's plan is to drag the Iraq war out to 2008 to scare people into voting for the GOP. Bush could care less about Iraq or the US for that matter.
