Yes, on average babies begin teething between 4 and six months. I have a 4 1/2 month old. We went to the pediatrician last week and she said my child is teething. She also said you can give her infant tylenol for pain. I also give teething tablets. They work very good and help her rest.

Yep--my son's first tooth broke through at 3-1/2 months. My friend's mom swears that she got her first at 6 weeks. Every baby is different. Teething sucks; ask your doc if you can use infant Tylenol. Baby Orajel is ok, but you don't always know where their gums hurt. They have these homeopathic teething drops, too. My son loves the cold teething toys and a cold (even frozen) wet washcloth b/c he can chew and suck on it.

FYI...your cell phone is NOT a good teething toy. I learned this the hard way :).

oh yeah, my son is 5 months and has been teething since 3. I want them to be born with all of them so they don't have to go through that.
