it's gotta be Buca de Beppo, and immegriant italian resturant with family style serving-you order with a small for 2-3 people or a large for 4-5 people. it is great food, and the place is so unique. first when you arrive, you are taken on a little tour through the resturant, including the kitchen. there is one table for those who request it, that is actually located IN the kitchen and the cooks, waitstaff are around all the time, and will answer any questions about what they are doing, what they are cooking etc. it is great. they are really so friendly and the food is WONDERFUL. everyone who comes to visit us-we take them there, and they hate the thought that they wont be back to Buca any time soon.

The Gourmet Room at the Riverside Casino/ Resort in Laughlin, NV. It is excellent. I also love Red Lobster, The Olive Garden, and Stuart Anderson's. The reason for these choices is the food and the ambiance.

Peter Chus at the Redding Airport. Te restaurant overlooks the runway. watching planes come and go is grand. I buy their POO POO platter. The service is good, most of the customers that are waiting for another flight eat there. No other place for miles.

I love this mexican place called Habeneros. I like it because they have the best mexican food I've ever had. The service is okay not bad but not good either. They just do what they have to. It's just a good place to hang out with friends and relax too.

My most favorite place in the world is Red Lobster. Unfortunately I only get to go there on my birthday. They have the most amazing shrimp. I especially love the Shrimp Scampi and Coconut Shrimp.

In my answer to your question, I shall endeavour to provide an Indian perspective not only because I am Indian, but also because I am firmly of the belief that Indian Cuisine constitutes of some of the greatest methodologies of cookery and recipes.

I dine out frequently. I enjoy doing so; I enjoy dining at restaurants that serve up varied and different cuisines. Of all international cuisines, the Chinese that is available for us here is probably as good as it gets outside China. The reason for this is that unlike the Continent and the Americas, we like our food cooked with spices and chillis - something that most people find diffult to endure. Broadly speaking, Chinese in the Western Nations is somewhat bland and cooked for palettes that are used to a certain degree of mildness. But here, it is cooked in its full glory. Believe me, that the Jalepeno Pepper pales in comparison in the face of our preferences. But our food is not always so blazing hot.

I like Thai Cuisine too; India, especially Bombay has a very good selection of eating places that serve well cooked Thai meals.

What I like best is the obscure cooking of India itself. From my perspective, I shall say that I like Indian food the best - because of its variety, its richness, its nutrition and the millions of flavours that go with it. I especially love sea food; I go easy on the meats. The vegetarian selection available here boggles the mind; and if you ever come here, to India, on holiday, please Include Bombay in your plans. Eat at a restaurant named "Khayber" in Colaba for a good Indian/Moghul Meal - a good selection of vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian is available here for consumption.

I could go on; but it is better to conclude this without complicating the information any further.

Bon Appetite.
