Is swallowing semen a form of cannibalism?
Some friends had a discussion and I wondered what the Y/A community would say.

No. Swallowing a fertilized egg would be. Semen alone is the difference between the seed and the leaves of a plant.

There will always be debate over when Life enters a foetus. Christians say at the point of conception, but I feel that this is something of an arbitrary decision by people with no expert knowledge in the subject. Because the subject is complex and mostly occult, I'll leave it there after saying that semen is only one part of a potential Life, not life itself, and anyway swallowing makes the cleaning up easier.

Even if sperm was considered life, it wouldn't in my case cause I've been firing blanks for over 20 years
