Lots of three letter surnames in MLB across history, including HOFer Mel Ott... and if we jump the Pacific we find Sadaharu Oh.

I'm sure there have been a ton of three letter names. Pete Orr is a current one, Bobby Cox is another, staying on the Braves theme. I can't think of an two letter last names offhand, but there may be some.

The record for shortest full name is Ed Ott. He was not an Edward, but an actual Ed.
