Just stop making payments and use the Cell Phone as much as possible until they turn it off.
They will send this whine story of how you owe money. Do not open the envelope and write on the front; "Return to sender, no longer at this address"!

if u go to http://www.celltrade.com u can post ur contract up there and if someone else is interested in taking it over they will notify u and u will get out of the charge

it depends on which carrier your with. verizon will cancel you contract if you move to an area that doesnt have service. Sprint, will cancel your contract if you port your # to nextel.

if you move to an area that doesn't have service with your provider they will usually let you out for a much smaller fee.
