I dunno what to do...it runs in my family to have a hysterectimy done.....im scared tho............and yes i go thru two boxes of super tampons when its my time.......im scared of doctors and hospitals...what do i do????

First, calm down. Getting all shook up is not an answer to your situation.
Second, take care of your body. Do everything you can to keep it healthy, especially since you have medical situations that seem to run in your family. Eat healthy and exercise regularly.
Hysterectomies aren't as quickly done anymore as they used to be. Just because they run in your family doesn't necessarily mean it will happen to you. They find alternative treatments all the time for things such as that.
Why are you scared of doctors and hospitals? Because of the hysterectomies that run in your family? Are you afraid because you think it will happen to you? If you have a problem, those same doctors and hospitals can help you to prevent having to have a hysterectomy.
Keep your head and be sensible. Don't worry and get upset before you have something real to worry and get upset about. And if and when the time comes that you do have something to worry about, instead of wasting time worrying, go to a doctor and get some answers............and treatments that will prevent it from going as far as a hysterectomy.
If you ignore signs and symptoms and don't go to a doctor to get checked out your chances are much higher that you will end up with a hysterectomy than if you get regular check ups.

Are you on the pill? It is supposed to lighten it up. The pill made me skip mine altogether. There's also some new way of stopping your period that is advertised on tv all the time, but I think you have to be done with having children. It is not a historectomy, but something a little less invasive.

gotta get over your fear of docs. May not be too serious yet but if you continue to avoid the gyno you may have serious problems later in life-problems that may have been avoidable with preventative care! Take care of yourself. You are high risk just with your family history. Don't mean to scare you but it is the truth.

talk to your doc you may not need to have this procedure done at all , and if they determine that u need it talk to others that have went through it u will be surprosed on how many women went through it adn are ok , some dont regret having it done etc , but the best thing to do is talk to your doc u may not need to have a hysto ,

AS YOU ALREADY KNOW THIS IS MAJOR SURGERY AND AN IRREVERSIBLE PROCEDURE.
TALK TO A GOOD GYNECOLOGIST AND FIND OUT IF A HYSTER. IS INEVITABLE. YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO FIND OUT ALL YOU CAN.
