I now understand that I can NOT use my wireless router to connect to my DIAL UP internet wirelessly...it's only for broadband.

BUT>>>

Does this mean I can, or can NOT use the router for DSL? It's broadband in the sense that it's fast, but it still uses a phone line, so is it out of the picture w/ a wireless router? (Single laptop use, no tandem computers here.)

Your router would be ideal for DSL, just plug your router into your DSL modem you will get from the phone company. Your phone company may give you a modem that also is a wireless router so you would not even need to use your current one. check with the phone company (don't pay any extra though!)

A router does not connect to the DSL or to the broadband. Instead it goes onto one side of a modem while the other side of the modem goes to the cable or DSL broadband connection.

Since the router is independent of the outside world it can be used with DSL.

There used to be a modem called Webramp that worked with dialup and could also take a router. But since most people who want a network have gone away from dialup that Webramp withered away and is only found on eBay nowadays.

For DSL, you probably got (or would get) a modem that a phone line plugs into, then a cable runs from the modem to your computer, it looks like an oversized phone line.

Instead of running the cable from the modem to your computer, you would run the cable from the modem to your router, then connect to the router using a wireless connection. So yes, you should be able to use a router with most DSL setups.

DSL enables you to use the internet via your phone line. as long as your router is a DSL router (which will have a phone line connection on the back) then it should work. if it doesnt it is most likely a cable modem

In this context, DSL is broadband, not a phone line. Read your documentation about connecting to DSL. You'll probably have to get a DSL modem from your phone company.

Wow! I honestly like it! it really is attractive. Girly, you've a skills. My favourite lines are the first "tell him by the winds i'm right here" and the 0.33 "style it with the help of the rain what i have self belief once you carry me". attractive. the purely lines i'd substitute if it were my poem will be "rolled the dice" and "it really is not any longer honest". per chance fairly of rolled the dice, "favor it ended stunning"? only a guideline, you're the poet right here. and that i do not recognize what you may want to apply for "it really is not any longer honest". you spot, i'm so taken into your poem on the starting up. yet when I get to the suitable, i have self belief slightly drawn out. i recognize it really is those 2 words that problem me, yet no longer certain why precisely. per chance i'm lacking the nature topic on the suitable of the poem. yet except that, wow. Very very stunning. and that i like the rhyme scheme. good luck with it.
