I have 55 gal tank, but i only 6 fish 2 inch big in it. I like to buy 5 draft puffers, i even got a little spot set up for them in my tant with lots of plants, you know so they can hide, do you think that my semi-aggresive fish will harm puffers?

Unless you know the puffers are captive bred, I wouldn't risk it. Puffer's skin and internal organs can contain a toxin produced by bacteria from the natural foods they eat. If a person eats just a little, it's possible they could die, so a much smaller fish taking a bite of one wouldn't be good for either of the fish. The toxin affects the nervous system and causes paralysis (including the muscles that control breathing and heartbeat).

It's possible that the fish are captive bred and wouldn't contain the toxin. But the puffers are also aggressive and will nip the fins of the other fish. They are also slow when compared to the swimming speed of other fish, so they often have trouble getting enough to eat if there are other species of fish kept with them. They really do best when kept in a tank of their own.

Puffer Fish are aggressive - usually to aggressive when full grown to go with many other fish. What exactly do you have in the tank? By the way - be careful about 'dwarf puffers' Petsmart sometimes sells baby puffers as dwarfs when in fact this species of puffers would grow to the size of your fist.
