Well yeah defenitly the evevation and a nice ice pack is also a good idea just not direct contact with the skin wtrap it is a washrag os something thin but just that its not directly on ur skin also why is it swollen, what did u do to it and u also have to be careful with how much weight ur putting on it, if its still tender.

if you wrapped your ankle with a round/english cabbage leaf it will refduce the sewlling & help heal in a few days. My friends brother sprained a ankle and the doctor gave him some meds and an ice pack. 3 days later everything was still the same. A family friend massaged the ankle and wrapped it with the cabbage leaf - the next day the swelling was gone, no pain and he was walking fine.

if its just randomly swollen
vinegar pills help keep your body from retaining water
and swelling is a sign that your body is doing so
but if youre talking injury then im not sure

Keep your leg elevated and put an ice pack on it.
