Seriously why do people think that the pill can kill the baby? It sas so right on the box that there is no scientific evidence. Especially since you only probably take it for a month by the time you know for sure you are pregnant.

Anyways to answer your question: No, you will get an accurate result either way. The hormones in the pill are completely different than the one the test is looking for.

Good luck and I hope you get the result you were looking for. ^.^

Don't trust the convenience store pregnancy test. Too many false results. See your doctor or go to a clinic. If you are really pregnant there's a lot of things that you should not put into your body because it will effect the fetus (smoking, drinking, etc.) just one of those things is a birth control pill

If she ignored an afternoon or 2, you may many times take something of the pills and capture up; whether, each week isn't something with which i could gamble. She's extra useful off merely taking a pill an afternoon and sticking to that on a daily basis time table to get each little thing working the way it might. start administration pills require on a daily basis adherence to the time table to be triumphant. it relatively is have been given to affix the ordinary... on a daily basis at sort of an identical time. If that doesn't paintings, there are a good number of selections - the patch, 3 month injections, etc. - that don't require as lots on a daily basis attempt. If I have been you, i could use condoms for the subsequent month or 2. start administration pills many times take a month or 2 to relatively become effectual in the 1st place. If the on a daily basis time table isn't maintained, the physique realizes it relatively is fertile lower back and can take a jointly as to cajole that it is not.

Birth control should not affect the result of the test, but if you are pregnant you need to stop the pill right away.

The hormones in birth control won't interfere with the test since the test is for a completely different hormone than the one you have been taking. As long as you aren't taking it too early, you should be able to trust the results.
Best of luck!

BC pills don't affect the results of an over the counter pregnancy test because it's looking for a hormone in your urine - HcG.

However, if you think you might be pregnant STOP taking your pills immediately. They could harm or kill your developing baby.

yes they will be accurate. The Urine test measures a hormone not effected by most birth control pills.

Ask the pharmacist if it is valid or read the box. But if you think you are pregnant, go see a doctor and stop the pill.

I never trusted those store tests. Best way to know, see your Gyno and have doc give you the test, best results and answers can come from him/her.
