Gnat starts with a "G", not a k. They are all "nuisances", but some of the insects who's names begin with an "N" are: Nit Fly (Bot fly, from the South East U.S.), Noseeum (from the North East, also called a Midge or Black fly), Nut Weevil,(they eat nuts and acorns) and Nymphalids, which are a type of butterfly. Hope one of these words helps you.
