I am a smaker &, before i went to sleep, i put my smoke out. It was the only butt in the ashtray. When i woke up this morning, i couldnt find the ashtray. Then, i saw it at the bottom of my bed, on my bed & now, there were 2 butts in it. Now, even scarier is the way it had been put out. I just basically bend it over & press down until its out. THIS other butt was all kinked & stubbed out. I didnt do it. I checked the house for evidence that someone else had been here but, it was clear that there was no possibility that anyone had been here. NOTHING had been touched & the doors & windows were as i left them. Im mysterfied. Cant someone possibly give me a genuine answer to this? My paranoia is that someone close to me may have died & came to say their final Good bye but, maybe im just over analyzing.

I am a smoker. I mis-spelled. Sorry. Plus, i DONT drink or take drugs &, i have a little dog who would have let me know if someone was in my home that we dont know.

Sounds to me like you definately had a visit from beyond. It probably was someone who you were close to. They may have been saying good-bye and then to maybe they are telling you to quit smoking. Don't be afraid and best of luck to you.

You're right, that's spooky. One time I found a half-drank bottle of wine in my closet and I had no idea where it came from. I didn't drink wine, and my parents never kept alchohol in the house. Nobody else lived there. I always wondered if somebody was trying to mess with my head.

Never heard of a ghost coming back to have a cigarette! Sometimes people do bizarre stuff in their sleep. I would lock your cigarettes/lighter/matches in your car before you go to bed - what happens if you get careless when you 'sleepsmoke'?

I doubt that a ghost came to your bedroom and smoked a cigarette. That is weird though. Was the second butt your brand? Do you have any roommates?

its possible it could be a person that was close to you....the only other thing that i can think of is if u were sleep walking...lol
