how can i make the swelling go down.and when am i aloud to change it?

Expect the swelling to last up to two weeks. You can chew on ice chips and take ibuprofen for swelling.
You will have to wait 10 weeks before changing it.

You have to give piercings a while before the swelling will stop. You've just put a hole in your body, so the swelling is trying to protect it! Bathe it in salt water 4 or 5 times a day, and keep it clean to reduce risk of infection. Don't change it for at least a couple of weeks until it has had time to heal.

I got my lip piercing three months ago and the first time, yeah..its gonna be a little swollen but its fine. The swelling should go down in about 2-4 days, relax but keeping a lip piercing is hard, you have to make sure its clean 247 so you dont get an infection.
i couldn't keep up with my piercing, so i had to remove it. it couldn't fit into my daily schedule, I'm always busy (thats hhow hard it is to keep a lip piercing good and clean)
but dont rub your lips together, it'll be more painful.

you won't be allowed to change it for a long time. And, of course it's swollen. I don't think there's any way to get the swelling down. I guess use Orajel if it hurts.

Hey genius, you impaled yourself with a hunk of steel. It will take a while for the "swalling" to go down. I don't know when you should be "aloud" to change it but I don't think you should be allowed to leave the house.

well obviosuly -__- i mean u barely got it pierced just yesterday! it will take a while 4 it 2 stop swelling. l luv lip pearcing on guys its sexii!!! =D

Your lip is still swollen because you lip isn't used to haveing a piercing in it! your lips are for talking with! Not to put sharp objects in! Are you insane? Piercings arn't cool, just ugly and odd.

Put an ice cube and Orajel on it to numb it.
