The war is becoming a drag, and the media makes us aware of this.
the outcome is vague and unrewarding.
The Democrats exploited this as a weakness, and greatly benefited themselves in the past elections, with "We'll take you in a new direction"
They underestimated the President, They though he would cave or make concessions.
President Bush stated what he wanted and how to get there.
The Democrats wasted 90 days producing sound bites on the TV and Radio, stating what they felt they had earned.
President Bush held his ground, and protected the separations of powers. and used the Veto
The Democrats tried to override the Veto, with a 2/3 vote and failed
The Democrats failed in their attempts, but fought to the end, this will not help them but should not hurt them with their base.
Now with the political battle over which wasted 90 days, they will give over the funds with what ever they can carry away with them.
They will credit any problems over to President Bush

Congress has a call between passing an perfect (if not perfect to Bush, a minimum of perfect to a veto-overturning majority of its personal club) funding bill, or taking credit for ending the Iraq conflict via its Constitutional 'capacity of the handbag.' because the latter might want to require some moral braveness, i think the former will ensue.

Who would be lives of hundreds of USA Solders, thousands of Innocent Iraqi, When four years after the President said mission accomplished. (Sorry got my Myths mixed and had to come back and correct the following is correct)Why the country is feed-up with Bush's Myth of Sisyphus solution. Sisyphus was cursed to roll a stone up a hill forever, because as soon as he got it to the top it rolled back to the bottom. Congress is trying to break the curse Bush put on this country.
