Expansion of uterus in early pregnancy?

How soon does the uterus start to grow? I'm 5 weeks, having some lower back pain, just like a dull ache, no cramping. I've been reading on here it could be due to my uterus getting bigger. What do you think?

I think you are very much right on the money! If this is your first pregnancy you will feel more discomfort when you expand.
You are just at the point now of starting to expand.

Yes, your uterus is getting bigger but not so much that your stomach is showing yet. You might not show until 3 or 4 months or maybe later, esp. if this is your first baby.

Your uterus is usually tiny and right now it has "grown" to the size of a walnut or a little bigger, so that might explain why you can't tell on the outside.
